Few days ago, I was working on one of my Flex project in the office. I called a persian text with WCF webservice, and import that to my RichEditableText’s textFlow. everything was fine, except my RichEditableText scrollBar position that was in the right, and of course I don’t want that. So, googled that but I didn’t find a suitable way for myself. So, posted that in Adobe forums, in here and as you can see, there is no answer yet! So I got to work myself and did it at last. In the first block of codes below, You can see that I’m importing a common language text (such as English) with Left-to-Right direction to textFlow and then bind it to a RichEditableText. I’m using Scroller tag to make my text to have a little Scroll-Bar.

از ظهر داشتم با خودم کلنجار میرفتم که واسه سال تحویل چی بنویسم، چی ننویسم. اصلا انگلیسی بنویسم، فارسی بنویسم. عکس چی بذارم؟ و کلی از این فکرای جور وا جور… به هر حال میدونید دیگه، آدم وقتی تنها باشه، کلی از این فکرای متحیرالعقولانه به سرش میزنه! مخصوصا اینکه این تنهایی تو عید و نزدیک سال تحویل باشه… خلاصه نهایتا این به نظرم رسید که بشینم و هر چی اومد تو ذهنم بنویسم؛ گفتم فارسی هم بنویسم که یه جورایی خودمونی و داخلی بشه، همون موقع هم داشتم برای مه-بانو جان، دنبال ِ یه عکس قشنگ میگشتم که بذاره تو facebook و تبریک و اینا که چند تا عکس پیدا کردم و تصمیم گرفتم یکی از اونا رو هم بذارم اینجا… در نهایت هم یه شعر خیلی خیلی قشنگ و دلچسب که خواهر جان از راه دور برام sms زد و به من که خیلی چسبید، گفتم اونم اضافه کنم که به شما هم بچسبه… به هر حال نتیجه شد اینی که میبینید. خودم که دوستش دارم و خوب فکر میکنم همین کافی باشه دیگه، درست نمیگم؟!

I believe the third one… I like the second one, but usually do the first
